| Capitalizing on her background in photojournalism, Connie Aramaki (aka Coco) brings a natural and emotional style to commercial and travel photography. Toward the beginning of her career, Coco was recognized by the NPPA’s Women in Photography and by the Eddie Adams Workshop for capturing the stories of women and families affected by the drug violence along the US-Mexico border. Living by her motto, “Have Camera. Will Travel.”, Coco crossed into the world of fashion photography, traveling to the world’s most exotic destinations apprenticing under several New York-based fashion photographers. And now, having established a still and video studio in Seattle, Coco has developed her own, unique, hybrid style of commercial photography that blends photojournalistic storytelling with her keen eye for wide commercial appeal. |
